Description
ABS Class C Pipe
ABS Class C Pipe suitable for solvent weld. Working pressure 9 bar.
Lightweight and easy to install using cold solvent welded joints which require no special tools. Suitable for use of temperatures from 0°C up to 60°C. Food safe.
ABS pipes, valves and fittings are manufactured in mid grey colour. They are joined by using cold solvent weld, while transition joints can be made using flanges, threaded connections and unions.
When assembling ABS Plastic Pipework you will need,
- Cleaning Fluid
- ABS Solvent Cement or if you’re looking for a faster option try Fast Cure Cement
- Brushes for Solvent Cement
Pipe to BS5391 Class C&E
Fittings – Solvent Weld & Screwed to BS5392 Pt 1 including Elbows, Tees, Unions, Nipples, Bushes, Sockets and Adaptors
A full range of ABS Valves and Fittings also available from stock.
This standard is based on the nominal bore of the pipes across the full range and not the diameter. For clarification, please see the Size Guide If in doubt, or if you require a specific inside diameter, please ring us to avoid ordering the wrong pipework.
(Pipe is sold in meters and therefore the quantity you add to your cart is the number of meters you will receive. If you order over 3m your delivery may be in more than one piece.)

Delivery
We use 3 different carriers:
Tuffnells: for orders over 2 metres in length, this is a 24-hour service with deliveries Monday to Friday.
DHL: 48-hour service for items over 2kg in weight.
Royal Mail: 2nd Class for items under 2kg.
